Our breeding program includes both red and black genetics. We balance growth with birth weight with emphasis placed on early maturity so that progeny kill at 20 months. Docile temperament is of paramount importance. Our dams are excellent milkers weaning a high percentage weight calf to the dams weight. We have been using AI extensively over the past few years, this along with Tran Tasman Group Breedplan ensures that we are at the leading edge of producing cattle of superior quality.
Our herd sires include 10 year old Ngaio Glen Renegade who is still a trait leader in low birth weights.
